I like to think about long-term solutions to problems to make further extensions easier. I also pay a lot of attention to details to make everything look polished.

Attack on Titan Esque Game

March 2022 - June 2022

Fast-paced action game with fully realized mechanisms of the Omni-directional Mobility Gear inspired by Attack on Titan (AoT).

I wanted a controllable non-simplified version of the AoT movement gears that allows for the maximum amount of self-expression so that the scenes from the anime can be re-creatable through the player's own intentional inputs (rather than through pre-defined action or quick time events)

Touhou Fractured Transience

January 2000 - Present

A 2D Platform Fighter with elements of the Shoot'em up genre. Hit your opponent as hard as possible, and send them flying in a beautiful yet unhinged Battle of Bullets!

Other than being the main programmer, I am also leading a team consisting of over 10 musicians, 2 other helper animators and an illustrator.

3D Physics Based Floating Character Controller

May 2024 - June 2024

A system to move characters in 3D games that also interacts with physics systems for more interactions with the level and enemies.

Since I wanted more control over how my character controls, I wanted to make a personal template for my own action games going forward.
